Kate Ross

Kate leads the global delivery of digital skilling education programmes with IBM SkillsBuild, IBM’s free tech education programme for all. IBM SkillsBuild helps adult learners, high school and university students and faculty to develop valuable new skills and access career opportunities. Kate brings over 20 years of experience in learning and development, tech-oriented management consulting, workforce strategy, and early talent management. She holds a Chartered Fellowship in the CIPD, was awarded Learning Leader of the Year by the Learning and Performance Institute in 2020, and in 2023 received the UK Targetjobs’ Early Careers Professional of the Year award, in recognition of her work in designing and scaling IBM’s in-house and degree apprenticeship programmes. She believes everyone should be able to flourish and succeed at work.
