How can I register for the WorldSkills Conference?

How much is a WorldSkills Conference 2024 pass?

The cost to attend the WorldSkills Conference 2024 is €250. This includes entry to the Conference on both days, entrance into WorldSkills Competition, refreshments and lunch on both days, and evening reception on 11 September.

When will ticket prices and full registration go live? 

WorldSkills Conference ticket registration begins on Monday, 24 June 2024 at 17:30 (GMT +2).

How can I secure a visa to travel to France for the Conference?

WorldSkills Lyon will not be able to provide supporting letters to assist with visa applications. You may send all enquiries to conference@worldskills.org

Do WorldSkills Official Delegates get access to the WorldSkills Conference as part of their existing package?

Yes, WorldSkills Official Delegates will be automatically registered for the WorldSkills Conference.

Do WorldSkills Members receive complimentary tickets?

Yes, all WorldSkills Members will receive an additional two complimentary passes. Members have until Monday, 1 July to confirm who they wish to allocate their tickets to.

We’re bringing a large delegation to WorldSkills Lyon 2024, can I register for our VIPs and supporters as a group?

On the registration website, you can purchase tickets by selecting group bookings.

Can WorldSkills Conference delegates visit the WorldSkills Competition 2024 as part of the programme?

Yes, WorldSkills Conference delegates will have the opportunity to visit the WorldSkills Competition as part of the Conference programme. Access will be included in the Conference pass.

Does a WorldSkills Conference pass secure access to WorldSkills Lyon 2024 or do I need to register separately?

Yes, the WorldSkills Conference ticket also provides access to the WorldSkills Competition.

I’m already registered with a package for WorldSkills Lyon 2024, how do I add access to the WorldSkills Conference to my package?

WorldSkills package holders will need to register and pay for a WorldSkills Conference pass in addition to their existing package using the appropriate registration form.

WorldSkills Official Delegates, Global Partners, and those receiving complimentary registration will be sent an email outlining how to pick up their Conference ticket.

I have purchased a Conference ticket but am no longer able to attend. Can I receive a refund?

Venue and logistics

Where is WorldSkills Conference 2024 being held?

The WorldSkills Conference takes place alongside the WorldSkills Competition at the same venue – Eurexpo Lyon, located between the Lyon Saint-Exupery International Airport (20 minutes) and the City Centre (30 minutes). To enter the Conference use the main entrance for Eurexpo Lyon. The Conference is in Hall 6.3.

Does the Conference venue have disability access?

Yes. Euroexpo Lyon Exhibition and Convention Centre is one of France’s leading exhibition venues and has disability access. The WorldSkills Conference will take place in Hall 6. Full information and venue map available on the Eurexpo website.

Agenda / Sessions / Format

When will the full agenda with speakers be announced?

As speakers are confirmed, WorldSkills Conference 2024 will make announcements. A full agenda will be published in June 2024.

Are there any keynote speakers or special events during WorldSkills Conference 2024?

Confirmed keynote speakers and panellists will be regularly updated in the programme. Special events will include curated WorldSkills Competition visits, events such as the BeChangeMaker finale, WorldSkills Conference reception and other networking opportunities.

Will there be breakout sessions and workshops?

There will be a number of breakout sessions during WorldSkills Conference 2024 for attendees to choose amongst according to their interests. Please, check our latest agenda for more details.

Is there an option to join any of the sessions virtually?

Sessions will be recorded and made available on WorldSkills YouTube Channel after the event.
