Nicholas Ouma is an education and skills development professional at the African Union Commission – Department of Education Science Technology and Innovation (ESTI) where he serves as a Senior Youth Advisor. With over 20 years of experience in education, employment, and youth development, he focuses on developing and implementing policies and programmes at both national and continental levels. Prior to his current role, Nicholas served as a high school teacher, university lecturer, and County Director of Youth Development in Taita Taveta County, Kenya. His expertise spans functional initiatives and outcomes within education and skills development spaces. Nicholas holds a Master of Education degree in Educational Communication and Technology from Kenyatta University, Kenya.
