Kathryn Rowan

Kathryn Rowan is the Executive Director of Global Apprenticeship Network (GAN), based in Geneva, Switzerland. Under her leadership, GAN Global launched Corporate Champions for Apprenticeships in January 2024, aimed at promoting the ILO’s Recommendation 208 on Quality Apprenticeships. Previously, she held roles with Nestlé in Canada and Switzerland. Most recently, she served as Vice President, Human Resources for Zone LATAM and Global Youth Lead. As a passionate advocate for youth and work-based learning opportunities, Kathryn was Secretary of the Global Alliance for Youth, a business-driven organization supporting youth development and skilling, founded in 2018. She has been actively involved in the GAN as Chair of its Steering Committee for the last six years. Kathryn is a graduate of the Institute of Management Development High Performance Board Program and speaks English, French, and Spanish.
