Juan Pablo Davila is Head of Skills Development, Entrepreneurship and Fair Production Unit at UNIDO, which he joined in 2008. He has led projects on quality infrastructure, supply chains, innovation, and green hydrogen in developing countries. With over 18 years of experience in technical assistance programs and partnerships, he is an expert in quality infrastructure, competitiveness, skills development, innovation, and climate technologies. He supported UNIDO’s Global Quality and Standards Program and Global Program for Hydrogen in Industry. Previously, Juan worked as a manufacturing engineer in the automotive industry and held public sector roles in Mexico, including directors of industrial development, economic information, and foreign investment. Juan Pablo has also taught as a professor at master’s level. He holds a mechanical engineering degree (ITESM, Mexico), a Master’s in Technological Innovation (CentraleSupelec, France), and completed MIT executive courses. He is an ISO 9001 lead auditor.
