Mohamad Maliki Osman

Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman has been serving as Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Education (MOE) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) since July 2020. Dr Maliki oversees ITE and Polytechnic Education at MOE, as well as chairs the Uplifting Pupils in Life and Inspiring Families Taskforce (UPLIFT) and the Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee (MLLPC). At MFA, Dr Maliki advances Singapore’s interests overseas in regions including ASEAN, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Middle East. A strong advocate for interfaith engagement, Dr Maliki has championed innovative programmes to promote these causes. He has also made significant contributions to the community, serving as Advisor to the Centre for Promoting Alternative to violence (PAVe) and the Grassroots Organisations of the East Coast Group Representation Constituency (GRC). In his leisure time, Dr Maliki enjoys spending time with his family, as well as contributing to charity through his performances on the guzheng.
